2009 Game Plan Revealed

So 2008 is just about done and I'm practically done with the 2nd bankroll drop. So after 364 days (this year was a leap year so there was actually 366 days - I'm not betting on the last 2 days), Bodog has cleaned me out for $191.00. Although that may seem like a lot, it's actually not too bad, considering that's how much I spent for one year's worth of entertainment (betting pretty much everyday except for maybe like 10 days).

However, that doesn't mean I'm satisfied. In fact, I'm not happy. I was expecting to win and it didn't happen. So after one year of picking over 1,000 games and coming up empty, I've decided to come up with a new game-plan. It's called: 2-team parlays.

I am going to start doing 2-team parlays mixed with money lines and point spreads (if the spread is good).

Here are the advantages of parlays and why I'm implementing the idea:
1. You win more faster.
2. You don't eat the 10% juice when you win.
3. With the money line incorporated within, I should hit more picks since the favs usually wins but fail to cover.

Now, I know all you bettors out there are saying this is a bad idea because I'm lowering my percentages of hitting the parlay because I have to hit both picks. Well, I am going to counter that by taking some money lines (bullet point # 3 above) - betting teams to win instead of covering (since I bet a lot of favorites to begin with). Alright I'm leaving work now, let me know if you see a deep-flaw in this plan (which I'm sure there is but I'm not gonna abandon the game-plan hah).

Total Record: 519-570-12 (51 games under .500, pathetic)

Total Net Profit (01/01/08 - 02/11/08): (-$100.00)
Total Net Profit (02/19/08 - 12/29/08): (-$91.00)
Total Net Profit for 2008: (-$191.00)
